Penco® 12” Wide 5-Tier Heavy Duty Athletic Box Lockers with Catch Door Pull

This locker is made with heavier gauge material for long life and durability. It is designed for heavy duty use in the storage of athletic gear. This locker comes knocked down, requires assembly.

It’s a high-performance choice for applications that require a high degree of ventilation or where the inspection of locker contents is desired. The doors and sides are perforated with a diamond-shaped pattern for the free flow of air.

CONSTRUCTION & MATERIAL: All parts made from prime grade mild cold rolled sheet steel free from surface imperfection, and capable of taking a high grade enamel finish. The doors are made from 14 gauge steel, and the sides, tops, bottoms and shelves are 16 gauge steel. Backs are 18 gauge. Coat hooks and coat rods are zinc plated.

FINISH: Electrostatically applied powder coating, inside and outside with the same color.

DOOR HANDLE & LATCHING: Doors are punched for use with padlocks or built-in locks. Doors for use with padlocks are equipped with an 18 gauge combination door pull, staple and lock hole cover plate with integral friction catch.

NUMBER PLATE: Each locker door is supplied with a polished aluminum number plate.

GROUP ENDS SOLD SEPARATELY: The Penco® Heavy Duty Athletic Lockers are priced as 3 sided units and shipped un-assembled for bulk installation; Since Lockers are often built on site in small complete groups, and then placed into rows, you save on materials costs by purchasing them as 3 sided units and purchasing a group end separately to finish off each row or group based on your configuration. For more details on installation, see the attached PDF document.
  • If you purchase 1 or 2 Single Units to stand alone, you need to purchase one additional group end for each stand alone section.

  • If you purchase multiple single units to be installed in a long row, we recommend a minimum of one group end per every 3 units because longer groups are difficult to move and install.

  • Athletic Lockers are built with perforated sides for ventilation; if you prefer to have solid sides on visible row ends be sure to order 2 solid group ends for each row (both ends of the row) so they will match.
